An Intrinsic Love for the Craft

Capturing magic through the dapple of light

Flowery pretentious headline right?!?! I know, but it sounded cool when I wrote it, and anyone whose worked with me knows how much I really do love to dapple light!

A little about me… I started my journey into photography as a photo assistant at a little, 12 person studio, down in Hollywood, FL which at the time was called KSC Studio. Together, we grew KSC Studio and it turned into KSC Kreate, I grew into a photographer. Later, KSC Kreate evolved into One Kreate and I, into a Senior Photographer. One Kreate evolved yet again into Creative Drive and the little 12 person studio I started with, now had hundreds of employees and over 12 studios around the world.

It was at this point, in 2015, I moved my family out of South Florida, to our Columbus, OH studio and assumed the role of the lead photographer. This is where I had the good fortune to cultivate many of my favorite working relationships. And when Creative Drive was forced to close their doors amidst the pandemic in 2020, I was able to maintain many of those working relationships and open RBCP. Here, I continue to shoot for those clients and  partner with new ones.

With almost 20 years in the commercial photography industry, I have taken photos for almost every retail giant in America. I have shot food for Burger King, lingerie for Victoria’s Secret, apparel for Under Armour, and alike. I have shot weekly circulars for Office Depot,  in-store signage for Whole Foods, and packaging images for Canon. I have traveled the world photographing resorts like Couples in Jamaica and cruise lines like Regent Seven Seas.

When I’m not living my best set life, you can find me and my wife, Felicia, focusing our efforts towards sustainability on our little urban farm. Or scouting the best place to ride our paddle boards.  Or venturing out to the latest craft brewery to start using a coolship in their spontaneous brewing practices. No idea what that is? Lets have a beer and we’ll tell you all about it…
